General Settings FAQs
IIf you do not find the answer you are looking for, please raise a ticket with Resolution Center.
To update your username:
- Go to General Settings.
- Locate the username field.
- Overwrite the current username with new username. Please note: changing username has consequences for verified users. To learn more, click here.
- Click Save to update.
To update your phone number:
- Go to General Settings.
- Locate the phone field.
- If it is empty, add your new number.
- If it is already filled, overwrite the current phone number with the new one.
- Click Save to update.
You cannot update email. If you have made mistake, please delete your account.
To update your birthday:
- Go to General Settings
- Find the birthday field.
- Select new birthday from calendar.
- Click Save to update.
Quick Alternative:
- Type friends name in the search bar.
- Open their profile.
- On their profile click “Unfriend” to remove and confirm.
When you unfriend someone, neither you nor they can see the other’s activities, stories, photos, videos and the like.
To update your country:
- Go to General Settings.
- Find the country field.
- Select new country from the dropdown list.
- Click Save to update.
To update your gender:
- Go to General Settings.
- Locate the gender field.
- Select new gender from the dropdown list.
- Click Save to update.
To get verified:
- Go to General Settings.
- Locate “Request verification”.
- Send request and follow any instructions.
- Wait for response.
- If you do not get a response within 48hrs, please raise ticket with resolution centre.
