Privacy Settings FAQs
IIf you do not find the answer you are looking for, please raise a ticket with Resolution Center.
- Navigate to General Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Who can see my birthday?” dropdown menu:
- Everyone
- My Friends
- Nobody
- Click Save to update.
- Navigate to General Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Who can message me?” dropdown menu:
- Everyone
- My Friends
- Nobody
- Click Save to update.
- Navigate to General Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Who can post on my timeline?” dropdown menu:
- Everyone
- My Friends
- Nobody
- Click Save to update.
- Navigate to General Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Status” dropdown menu:
- Online
- Offline
- Click Save to update.
- Navigate to General Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Show my activities?” dropdown menu:
- Yes = Everyone
- No = Nobody
- Click Save to update.
- Navigate to General Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Share my location with public?” dropdown menu:
- Yes = Everyone
- No = Nobody
- Click Save to update.
Navigate to General Settings .Click on Privacy .Choose an option from the “Who can see my friends?” dropdown menu:
- Everyone
- My Community (Friends & Family)
- My Followers (Those following your Page)
- Nobody (Only you)
Click Save to update.
You can improve your profile and posts’ reachability beyond HeyJinni by allowing search engines (e.g., Google) to link to your profile to help internet users find you more easily. If you select NO, your profile can still be found on HeyJinni if users search for your name or username.
- Go to General Settings > Profile > Social > Invitation > Notification > Design > Avatar & Cover > Privacy.
- Choose an option from the “Allow search engines to index my profile and posts?” dropdown menu:
- Yes = Everyone
- No = Nobody.
- Click Save to update.
